AUTHORS’ GUIDELINES – USEFUL INFORMATION

SELECTED ORAL / VIDEO PRESENTATION

Presentations must not exceed 10 mins (including question time). Authors are kindly requested to respect the indicate timings.
The speakers are entirely responsible for the presentation content (order, graphics etc…).
All presentations and questions must be delivered in English, as English is the official language of the Congress.

Selected Oral presentations

PowerPoint presentations should meet commonly compatible format, preferably using PowerPoint version 2010 or higher in 16:9 aspect ratio.
When saving the final presentation to a USB stick, all video files – if any – and all links to these multimedia files must be saved on the device with the presentation.

Selected Video presentations

Videos must not exceed 8 minutes length and should be in 16:9 aspect ratio, .mp4 or .MOV.

Presentations/Videos must be handed over to the personnel in the Slide Center, with a USB stick, as far in advance as possible and four hours before the start of entire session, starting from Saturday 9th September from 5.00 p.m. The presentation for an early morning session should be handed over the evening before.

Please note it is not possible to use your own laptop.

POSTER

In preparing your Poster please use the following guidelines:

  • Size: 70cm x 100cm – in portrait orientation. The organizer will provide suitable fixing material.
  • Printed on common paper or cardboard – no tissue or any other textures
  • Written in English
  • If figures are included, these should be clearly labelled and legible

Posters will remain displayed within the whole Congress and should be dismantled after the Closing Remarks.

Each poster board will be assigned to a specific number. Authors are kindly asked to make sure to display their poster on the proper board checking the assigned number to their poster presentation. Your Poster number can be found by checking the Final Programme at this link.

Printing and transport of the poster is at author’s charge and care.
No onsite print service will be possible.

Poster area will be accessible from starting from Saturday 9th September from 2.00 p.m.
